(Insert Wii pun) Top Wii games to look forward to

The Wii's novelty can only get it so far (see ridiculous wii controller add ons). Well fear not Wii fans, some of the most acclaimed games of the year are making their Wii debut. Here's the top Wii games on my list

Guitar Hero 3

Alright maybe not exclusive Wii material, but hey; the game is still going to be flipping (yea I said flipping so what?) phenomenal. The track list is stunning and filled with new bands such as Weezer, Metallica, Pearl Jam, ZZ Top and others. The best part yet is that some songs will even be played by the original artist...woot. Set to release October 28th, 2007

Geometry Wars Galaxies

Who doesn't love bright screens, huge flashy explosions and glowing sperm-like enemies attacking your tiny but powerful ship? No you're not in a Gay bar, it's Geometry Wars Galaxies for the Wii. Exclusive to the Wii and DS, Galaxies remains true to its roots and provides the same chaotic old-school arcade action we love and launches November 6th, 2007

Super Mario Galaxy

As awkward as Super Mario Sunshine was for some, it was still innovative and fun with our favorite overweight Italian Plumber. Galaxy continues the trend and puts Mario in six unique worlds (fire, water, fruit etc.) with multiple planets in each. The game utilizes the wii-mote (duh) in ways that'll make Martha Stewart's head spin. Coming to your Galaxy (lolz!) November 16th, 2007

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption

Metriod is one of Nintendo's oldest and most beloved franchises and it's no surprise that the latest iteration will probably rock and roll you all day long. Aside from the intense gameplay in the first two games, Corruption will take it to the next level (whatever that may be) with the help of the wii-mote. Resident Evil 4 on the Wii was an instant hit (not like it wasn't before...) thanks to the wii-mote, proving shooters have a new life on the Wii, where Corruption will hopefully shine. Oh yea Corruption also features the attractive Samus, a more fleshed out story and some nifty visuals (yawwn). Coming to you sometime before October 2007.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl

The only way Nintendo could botch this hit is to package the game with Salmonella, although some would people would probably still wanna play. New characters, new items, new battles mode, new moves, new controls; what's not to love and what's left to say? Check the Dojo for all your Brawl related news. Buy it December 14th, 2007.
